Day Five: What is your favourite movie? Why is it important to you?


One, really? I can't pick one. But I have narrowed it down to three.

1) Almost Famous - My all time favourite movie. There is so much truth to it and it is so relevant. A movie about people understand the difference between being a 'bandaid' and being a 'groupie'. A movie about people who understand that music speaks what words cannot not. A movie which promotes going completely after what it is you want in life and not stopping until you get there.

2) In the Land of Women - A twisted look at life for people who believe that the grass is greener and all that garbage. Life is exactly what you make it to be and that's largely the message throughout this movie.

3) P.S I Love You - Purely because somewhere deep down, I'm a romantic and this movie is exactly what I pull out when I just need to sit and cry for 3 hours.

Also deserving a mention as they are also favourites are: Into The Wild, The Secret Life of Bees, Remember Me and a whole range of black and white films.
